We hope you love your order. The following policy explains your cancellation, return and refund rights.
Nothing in this policy limits statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
EU/EEA Consumer Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer purchasing online and the statutory European right of withdrawal applies to you, you normally have 14 days from the day you receive your goods to withdraw from the purchase without providing a reason. Eur-Lex
For orders containing multiple products delivered separately, the withdrawal period generally begins when the final item is received. Eur-Lex

Returning Goods After Withdrawal
After notifying us that you are exercising your right of withdrawal, return the goods within the legally applicable return period.
Unless we have agreed otherwise or the item is faulty, incorrect, or damaged in circumstances for which we are responsible, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.
You may inspect an item in the same way that you reasonably could in a physical shop. If an item has been handled beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning, we may be entitled to deduct an amount reflecting any reduction in value, where permitted by law. Refunds Following Withdrawal
Where the statutory withdrawal right applies, we will refund the payments that we are legally required to refund within the applicable period.
Under EU rules this is generally within 14 days after we are informed of your withdrawal. For goods, we may withhold reimbursement until the goods have been returned or you provide evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first. European Union
Where required, the refund includes the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. Additional costs resulting from the customer choosing a more expensive delivery method do not have to be reimbursed. European Union
Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
Personalized Books
The statutory cooling-off right does not normally apply to goods made to a consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized. European Union
A book containing a personalized handwritten inscription created specifically at your request may therefore not be eligible for return simply because you change your mind.
For example, a book inscribed specifically:
“To Sarah — happy birthday! Love, Brittany”
is clearly personalized.
This exception does not remove your rights if the product is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or otherwise does not conform to the contract.
Please check the spelling of all names and personalization instructions carefully before placing your order.
We cannot replace or refund a personalized item solely because the customer supplied incorrect personalization information.
Standard Signed Copies
A standard author signature alone is not automatically treated by this policy as a personalized product.
Where the statutory withdrawal right applies, a normally signed copy may therefore still be eligible for withdrawal.
Bundles
If several products are purchased together as one discounted bundle and you withdraw from the complete bundle, all products forming part of that bundle must normally be returned.
This does not affect your legal rights where only one component is defective, damaged, or incorrect.
Wrong, Damaged or Defective Products

We will handle the matter in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Complimentary Gifts and Book SWAG
Complimentary bookmarks, stickers, art cards, book SWAG, and surprise gifts may vary according to availability.
Unless a specific item is expressly included as part of the purchased product description, complimentary promotional items have no separate cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
If a purchase is returned in full, we may ask that complimentary items supplied specifically with that purchase are returned as well where reasonable and legally permitted.
Order Cancellations Before Dispatch
If you wish to cancel an order before dispatch, please contact us as quickly as possible.
We will try to accommodate the request.
Personalized orders may enter production shortly after ordering. Once personalization has begun, the statutory exception for clearly personalized goods may apply.
Statutory Guarantee / Conformity
Products must conform to what was agreed and may not be sold in a defective state contrary to applicable consumer law.
Nothing in this return policy replaces or restricts mandatory statutory guarantee or conformity rights.
